Meet your webmaster, Hugh B. Anderson IV.
Hello and welcome to HexMatrix. My name is Hugh Anderson and I create these web designs. I have been programming computers for 21 years, I have been studying multimedia for 15 years, and I have been a professional internet developer for 10 years. I graduated from Virginia Tech in 1995 with a Computer Science degree.
I enjoy working with a variety of clientelle on all kinds of different web sites. Each kind of web site I develop presents an exciting new challenge that keeps my job fun.
My primary web programming language is Cold Fusion, which allows for very rapid web site development. I hand-encode each web site instead of using software to create web sites for me. I can do this because of my expertise in the programming languages that I use. This allows the ultimate creative control over layout of web screens.
My in-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, CFM, SQL and computer graphics allows me to rapidly convert imagination into reality. My 15 years of experience creating web graphics and 10 years of professional experience creating and programming graphical user interfaces translates to swift production of web sites that are elegant and functional.
My years of education in graphic design gives me an edge over other Computer Scientists. This makes me a well-rounded web expert, in that I am not completely technical, nor completely graphical, but a balance of both. I believe this balance is necessary to create superior web sites.
